I am thrilled to share that Roadtek has signed a long-term supply agreement with Footwear Emporium, one of the largest footwear retailers in Europe, following an in-depth factory tour hosted by our operations team last month.
The tour provided John Doe, Head Buyer, Jane Smith, Product Manager and Michael Wang, Sourcing Director from Footwear Emporium an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our entire manufacturing process. For two full days, our specialists escorted the delegation through our sprawling 500,000 square foot facility in Shandong province.
From leather cutting to final quality checks, the visitors gained invaluable insights into how we transform high-quality materials into stylish, durable footwear using cutting-edge automation and craftsmanship. They observed our stringent standards first-hand at each production station, such as automated adhesives testing machines that check over 10,000 bonds per hour.
Our guests were also impressed by Roadtek continuous efforts to advance sustainability. They learned about our recent investments in energy-efficient LED lighting for the factory and a new water recycling system that reuses up to 95% of wastewater.
After in-depth discussions on future product development and minimum order quantities, Mr. Doe expressed confidence in our ability to handle large volumes for the European market. He praised our skilled workforce, advanced facilities and consistent ability to deliver top-notch quality on schedule despite challenges like the pandemic.
